Returning players: Dakota Shadle (12), Tyler Dugan (10), John Parsell (11), Jacob Batterson (10), Mitchell Smith (10), Devin Hager (10)
Newcomers: Eli Trimbur (9), Evan Griffin (9), James Quinn (9), David Rigas (9), Cooper Sunderlin (9)
Thoughts on this year's team: Another good group of boys that I'm proud to coach.
Thoughts on the league this season: We are happy to play with the schools in the league.
Cowanesque Valley Indians
Head Coach: Mark Haviland
Record last season: 9-9
Returning players: Chandler Mastin (12), Brian Fulmer (12), Cameron Lewis (12), Skyler Schmidt (12)
Newcomers: Nathan Pickering (10), Jamie Colvin (10), Adam Brooks (11), Michael McCall (11)
Thoughts on this year's team: We worked extensively during the summer and fall to prepare the more inexperienced players for varsity matches; therefore, I think we should be competitive against every team we play.
Thoughts on the league this season: Based on some of the players lost to graduation, I doubt the league will be as strong as in the past two seasons. In the past, there has been a lot of parity, but there seems to be a distinct difference between the top and bottom of the conference this season. However, there are three tremendously gifted seniors in the league who should be ranked among the top players in the entire district. The top players in the league are clearly its strength.
Towanda Black Knights
Head Coach: Lucy Snyder
Record last season: 10-8
Returning Players: David Rodenhizer (12), Kevin Blackman (12), Christian Thomason (11), Dawson Wright (11)
Newcomers: Anthony Vogel (9), Matty McNeal (9), Logan Spencer (11), Chandler Dunn (10)
Thoughts on this year's team: We have our state qualifier, David Rodenhizer, returning which gives us a strong top four and we have a lot of potential coming from our newcomers.
Thoughts on the league this season: As last year, I think the NTL will have a strong league. Only losing two players from last year Galeton will come back very strong this year. I also think Cowanesque Valley and Towanda will give Galeton some competition.
Head Coach: Bill Butterfield
Record Last Season: 0-13
Returning Players: Henry Meinstereifel (12), Zack Giovannini (10)
Newcomers: Chase Buck (12), Robby Satterly (11), Ian Morgan (9), Kevin Newcomb (12), Matt Miller (9), Justin Sales (12), Dylan Abbey (12), Lukais Rumsey (12), Caleb Ransom (12)
Thoughts on this year's team: We have a lot of new guys, some that are just learning tennis. This is my second year coaching and I'm trying to build up the team. I think we have a lot of talented, athletic kids and I'm excited to see what they can do this year.
Thoughts on the league this season: It's always a tough league with lots of talented kids. I look forward to seeing how our team does against them.
