OWEGO, N.Y. - There were several local standouts at the Owego Invitational Friday.

The Northeast Bradford boys' 4x800 relay of Brandon Devonshire, Curt Jewett, Sam Williams and Colton Snyder won, then dedicated their win to the Boston Marathon attack victims.

Notre Dame's Brittany Schutrum won the 100, Sayre's Elyse Skerpon won the 100 hurdles, Northeast Bradford's Lydia Werner won the high jump in 5-feet while Notre Dame's Emma Booth won the novice 800.

Snyder was second in the 400 while Tioga's Charlsie Bowen was second in the pole vault.

The meet was suspended after the 400 due to severe weather.

The weather affected other meets around the area as Misericordia's Twilight meet was stopped after a handful events while Lock Haven's Bald Eagle Invitational was cancelled on Thursday.
