Mansfield's DMR breaks school record

The Mansfield University women's distance medley relay team set a new school record at the New Balance Meet at The Armory in New York City.

The team of Clarissa Cummings, Erica Ferguson, Bethany Coons and Brenae Edwards finished 10th overall with a time of 12:16.93 surpass the previous school mark of 12:24.08 set in 2004.

Also doing well for the Mountaineers in the mostly NCAA Division I meet were senior Mike Gray who finished 9th overall in the shot put with a season best effort of 16.25 meters.

The men's DMR team of Nate MacNabb, Justen Johnson Vic Garcia and Bud Plaszenski was seventh with a time of 10:09.76 and Plaszenski finished 30th in the mile (4:19.03).

Brenae Edwards was 20th in the women's mile (5:07.08).
