The Seventh Annual Maroon and Gray Golf Tournament will tee off Saturday, May 25, at the Tioga Country Club in Nichols, N.Y.

The tournament is sponsored by the Northeast Bradford Education Foundation, a non-profit organization that raises money to provide items and experiences that supplement students' education.

The tournament begins with registration at 11 a.m. that day and a noon shot-gun start. The format is Florida Scramble.

Cost is $90 per person - or golfers can ask organizers about the Super Ticket, which provides the opportunity to win golf at area courses.

The day also includes lunch and a chicken barbecue dinner, as well as putting, Pot of Gold and Closest to the Pin contests.

In recent years, the NEBEF has provided students thousands of dollars' worth of goods and services. They include: graphing calculators, elementary musical instruments, classic novels, the Rachel's Challenge anti-bullying program, sheet music, an oven/stove, Promethean Active Expression sets, a McNaughton book subscription, smartphones and much more.

Golfers are asked to pre-register by contacting organizer Jack Carr at (570) 746-3510 or (570) 335-0683, or organizer Gary Hennip at (570) 247-7233 or glh11@psu.edu.
