Mounties to face Division-I Buffalo today
The Mansfield University men's basketball team travels to Division I University of Buffalo Saturday, Nov. 23 for its second regular season contest of the 2012-13 season. Tip-off from Alumni Arena is set for 7 p.m.

The Mountaineers are off to a 1-0 start following a convincing 100-64 win on the road at Roberts Wesleyan College on Nov. 13. Junior Onyema Utti led the way for Mansfield shooting 80 percent (8-10) from the field to total 18 points. He also recorded six rebounds, two assists and a steal in the win.
Sophomore Joe Bell added 13 points and had a team-high eight rebounds. Redshirt freshmen Brad Williams and Kenny Johnson each chipped in 11 points for the Mountaineers.
Buffalo comes into Saturday's game with a 1-6 overall record with its lone win coming in a 56-50 decision at Evansville University. In their last outing, the Bulls fell to Canisius 71-64.
Junior forward Javon McCrea leads Buffalo in scoring at 17.5 points per game. The 6-foot-7 big man has led the Bulls in scoring in each of the first six games. Junior guard Jarod Oldham is averaging 9.7 points and 6.2 rebounds per outing.
The Mountaineers open PSAC play on Saturday, Dec. 1 when they host Edinboro University at Decker Gymnasium in conference crossover action.
