Mansfield's Mike Rohl has been named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Women's Cross Country Coach of the Year after guiding the Mountaineers to their first conference championship in program history in 2013.

Rohl, who was named USTFCCCA Atlantic Region Women's Coach of the Year in November, is in his 12th season at the helm of the Mansfield program.

The Mountaineers posted an historic season in 2013 with record finishes at the conference, regional and national meets. Mansfield placed four runners in the top 10 at the PSAC Championships to defeat four nationally-ranked programs and end Shippensburg's five-year run of titles.

Mansfield finished a best-ever second at the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championship and was the only team to place four runners in the top 15. The second place finish earned the Mountaineers their first team berth at the NCAA Championships in school history.

At the NCAA Championship in Spokane, Wash., Mansfield finished ninth in the country led by All-Americans Jess Scordino and Troy graduate Lauren Norton. The Mountaineer's top 10 finish was the best by any team on the east coast.
