Mansfield University's Seth Tressler brought home Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East Athlete of the Week honors after putting on a hitting clinic at the plate this past week for the Mountaineers.

Tressler hit .571 from the dish in 21 at bats through the first five games of Mansfield's spring break trip to Clearwater, Fla. The junior scored seven runs while totaling 15 RBIs. Three of his 12 hits on the week were doubles.

The right fielder went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and five RBIs against Minnesota Crookston on Friday. Tressler has recorded at least three RBIs in each of the last four games.

Tressler's .500 batting average is the second highest in the conference and he's tied for the second most RBIs with 18. He also ranks third in the PSAC in both slugging percentage (.656) and doubles (5).

The Mounties round out their spring break trip by traveling to St. Leo University for a doubleheader on Monday before playing a single game at Eckerd College on Tuesday.
