Mansfield University women's soccer along with head coach Tim Dempsey has released its 2013 schedule highlighted by the first home night game in program history on October 9.

The Mountaineers open the season on the road Sept. 5 against a tough West Chester squad who made it to the NCAA quarterfinals last season. Mansfield will host East Stroudsburg for its home opener on Sept. 7 followed by a home contest against Shippensburg on Sept. 10.

The Mounties hit the road again for games against Millersville and new PSAC addition Pitt-Johnstown on Sept. 14 and 18 respectively before hosting a four-game home stand. The home stand opens with another new PSAC addition in Seton Hill on Sept. 21 before hosting IUP (9/27), Clarion (9/28) and Lock Haven (10/2).

Mansfield travels to Bloomsburg on Oct. 5 then returns home to host Goldey-Beacom under the lights on Oct. 9. The first night soccer game in MU history is set to begin at 7 p.m. at Karl Van Norman Field.

The Mounties host Kutztown on Oct. 12 before hitting the road for four games at California (10/16), defending PSAC Champion Slippery Rock (10/19), Edinboro (10/26) and Mercyhurst (10/30). Mansfield hosts Gannon on Nov. 2 for the final regular season game of the year.
