LERAYSVILLE - The Panthers got a double-double from Angelia Laudermilch in a 66-43 victory over Towanda on Saturday.

The Panthers outscored Towanda 25-11 in the third quarter to break open a game they led 29-25 at the half.

Laudermilch had 18 points and 12 boards and MaKaylah Holbert had 13 points, four steals and four assists, while Calla Martin had nine points, eight boards, five assists and six steals.

Lydia Werner had eight points for the Panthers and Shelby Park and Maddy Johnson each had six points, while Alyssa Coon and Alyssa Turner had three points each.

Towanda got 13 points from Alaina Wickwire and 12 from Kaitlin Hallabuk in the game.

Alysha Grimes had 11 for Towanda and Dani Zatkos had three points, while Alliesha Koss and Kayla Grimes each had two points.

Northeast Bradford won the JV game 41-29 with Werner leading the Panthers with 18 and Koss leading Towanda with 12.

The Panthers are at Wyalusing on Thursday.

Athens 58, Wyalusing 41

The Wildcats got a double-double from Christen Dunkling and Monica Dougherty and Danielle Stopper also hit double figures in the win.

Athens jumped out to a 22-11 lead after one quarter on their way to the victory.

Dunkling had 20 points and 10 rebounds and Dougherty had 14 points, six rebounds and seven assists, while Stopper had 10 points, eight rebounds and three assists.

Danielle Dougherty had six points and five steals and Mackenzie Hafer had four points, while Jensen Dunkling and Mackenzie Warner each finished with two points, with Jensen Dunkling adding five boards.

Arielle Kneller led the Rams with 15 points while Mackenzie Martin added nine and Veronica Morrison finished with eight.

Ally DeVoir had four points, Kasey DeVoir had three points and Savannah Schools finished with two points.

Kneller led the Rams with nine boards and had two blocks and Mackenzie Martin, Paighton Martin and Morrison each had two steals, with Paighton Martin adding two assists and Morrison adding three rebounds.

Athens won the JV game 38-35 in overtime. Morgan Westbrook led the Wildcats with 18 and Hannah Reid had 10 for Athens.

Wyalusing is at Sayre on Tuesday.

Sayre 38, Troy 28

Elyse Skerpon had 17 points and Kelsey Young had 12 rebounds as Sayre held Troy scoreless in the first quarter on their way to an NTL East victory on Saturday.

Mollie Robinson had nine points for Sayre and Young and Adrienne Malorzo each had four points, while Katie Hurley and Paige Wampole had two points each.

Malorzo finished with eight boards in the game.

Troy got 11 points from Kelsey Bristol and Taylor Johnston had eight in the game.

Vanessa Benson had four points for Troy and Brooke Mattocks had three points, while Faith Ceely finished with two points.

Bristol had three steals, six boards and two assists and Benson had three steals. Ceely had three assists and Johnston had six rebounds.

Sayre won the JV game 43-23 with Cheyanna Roberts scoring 13 for Sayre.

Troy is at Athens on Tuesday.

Mansfield 49, North Penn 31

BLOSSBURG - The Tigers got 15 points each from Molly Wood and Emily James in the victory.

Mansfield outscored North Penn 20-5 in the second quarter in the victory.

Ali Hillson finished with nine points for Mansfield in the game and Jackie Hillson had seven, while Simone Lichty and Erin Dempsey each had two points.

Whitney Holdren had 10 points for North Penn and Cassie Frederick had eight, while Alex Mendez finished with five points.

Kaitlyn Garverick, Mariah Berguson and Kirsten Berguson had two points each for North Penn and Meredith Kline finished with one point.

Kirsten Berguson had 10 rebounds and Frederick had six assists.

North Penn won the JV game 28-25. Avery Montefusco led North Penn with 11 and Alysa Davey-Bostick led Mansfield with nine.

North Penn is at Liberty on Tuesday.

Millville 59, Sullivan County 35

Addie Jordan had nine points and Tori Shultz finished with eight for Sullivan County in the loss.

Shelby Zeller and Cortney Rupert had five points each for the Griffins and Yanbela Bialer, MacKenna Bagley, Kelly Kramer and Crystal Riebe each finished with two points.

Madi Bower Led Millville with 24 points in the game.

There was no JV game.

The Griffins hosts Bucktail on Monday.

Williamson 70, Galeton 54

Kim Daugherty had 29 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Warriors and Lori Horton had 21 points, 17 rebounds, seven blocked shots and six assists.

Daugherty added two steals and two blocks for the Warriors and Jenna Hugic had 10 points in the game, along with five rebounds, two steals and two assists and Jamie Cook had six points and five boards, with five assists.

McKenna Greenwalt had four points for Williamson, along with four boards, three steals and three assists.

CV 57, Canton 31

The Indians got 23 points from Hayley Painter and 11 from Amanda Painter in the victory on Saturday.

Blair Williams had nine for the Indians. Courtney Schauer had four points for CV and Crystal Crowner and Vanessa Earle each had three points, while Kayla Schauer and Grace Earle had two points each.

Makenzy Route had nine points for Canton and Chelsey Heatley finished with eight points.

Abby Herman and Kiana Binford had four points each and Bry Tymeson, Gabby Tymeson and Lizzy Tymeson had two points each for Canton.

Canton won the JV game 17-7 for their first victory of the season.

Lizzy Tymeson led Canton with seven and Maggy Machmer had four, while Trisha Brown, Jessica Pavey and Maddie Thorne had two points each for the Warriors.

Canton hosts Towanda on Tuesday.
