The Crusaders swept Newark Valley 4-0 in IAC boys' bowling action recently while the girls fell 4-0 to the Lady Cardinals.

Notre Dame had games of 986, 948 and 861 for 2795 to beat Newark Valley's 901, 865 and 784 for 2560.

Mathew Dieg led the way for Notre Dame with games of 226, 248 and 151 for 625 while Alex Sherman rolled 186, 179 and 208 for a 573 series.

Also for the Crusaders, Chris Tuma rolled games of 175, 192 and 193 for 560, Joel Siedman rolled 236, 153 and 157 for 546, Riccardo Gennali rolled 163, 176 and 149 for 488 and Vincent Fazzari had games of 114, 107 and 152 for a 373 series.

Troy Meddaugh led the Cardinals with a 580 series behind games of 151, 165 and 164.

Crusader Cassie Berry led her team with games of 178, 147 and 244 for a 569 series while Kirsten Karam rolled 156, 149 and 146 for a 451 series.

Also for Notre Dame, Dani Antos rolled 389 behind games of 111, 156 and 122, Stefanie Evans rolled 378 with games of 97, 128 and 156, Megan Cleary rolled games of 118, 130 and 110 for 358 and Maggie Zheng had games of 119, 77 and 113 for 309.

Newark Valley's Kirsten Chase led all bowlers with a 574 series behind games of 146, 258 and 170.
