Notre Dame lacrosse falls to Maine-Endwell
Notre Dame fell to Maine-Endwell 16-5 in high school lacrosse action Friday.
Jonas McCaig led the Crusaders with three goals and two assists while Brandon Mahajan added two goals. Devon Jackson chipped in with an assist.
Jake Rice made 14 saves in goal for Notre Dame while Will Brennan made six stops.
Maine-Endwell out shot Notre Dame 34-14 and won more faceoffs 18-6. Maine-Endwell was also 4-for-5 on extra-man advantages while Notre Dame went 0-for-4.
Brock Post had six goals and two assists to lead the Spartans while Dave Zielewicz added three goals.
Tanner Cosens made three saves in net while Tyler DeSario stopped two shots.
Notre Dame travels to Johnson City on Monday with an 8:30 p.m.
