NTL East All-Stars named

The boys NTL East soccer all-stars were named Monday, with Sayre's Taylor Skerpon garnering the All-State selection along with Northeast Bradford coach Josh Brown being named the Coach of the Year.

Joining Skerpon on the first team were forwards Josh Burlingame of Sayre, Jordan Brunelle of Troy, Towanda's Anthony Ventello and Mitch Martin of Northeast Bradford. The first team mid-fielders were Troy's Brandon Cole, Athens' Jhonatan Cruz, Towanda's Ryan Cora, Sayre's Terence Meeker and Athens' Eric Bull. The first defenders are Troy's Shane Rockwell, Towanda's Tyler Bennett, Athens' Kyle Pane and Brad Miner, while David Munn of Athens was named the first team goalie.

For the second team, the forwards are Athens' Isaac Clark, Towanda's Kevin Jurnack, Northeast Bradford's Isaiah McPherson and Athens' Zach Colegrove, while the mid-fielders are Troy's Nate Smith and Geoffrey Debach, Towanda's Justin Sekula and Sayre's Scott Beeman. The second team defenders are Troy's Jimmy Shedden and Eric Reeves, Sayre's Mark Hickey and Athens' Pat Riley along with Towanda's Jesse Olsen. Towanda's Cody Curry was the second team goalie.

For honorable mention, the forwards are Sayre's Trey Hildebrandt, Athens' Brooks Johnson, and Troy's Shane Miller; the midfielders are Athens' Colton Lawton and Connor Murphy, Northeast Bradford's Colton Snyder and Sayre' Dan Weber; the defenders are Athens' L.J. Casterline, Northeast Bradford's Tom Edsell and Jon Russell, Sayre's Spencer Ward and Towanda's Dustin Mattocks. The two honorable mention goalies are Sayre's Riley Card and Northeast Bradford's James Zajac.
