Northeast Bradford's furious fourth quarter comeback came up short as they fell to Blue Ridge 38-31 in non-league boys' basketball action Monday.

Blue Ridge held a narrow 12-9 lead after the first quarter. They broke open the game during the second and third quarters, out scoring Northeast 20-10 to take a 32-19 lead into the final quarter.

The Panthers made a run at it, out scoring Blue Ridge 13-6, but came up short.

Todd Bonin and Jordan Goodwin both had double-doubles for Northeast. Bonin had 11 points and 11 rebounds while Goodwin added 10 points and 14 rounds. Bonin also had four blocks and two assists.

Shawn Hakes had six points and Ryan Horne added four to round out the Panther scoring.

Chris Carlsen led Blue Ridge with nine points and seven boards.

In the JV game, Blue Ridge won 39-31. Caleb Garrity had 11 for the Panthers.

Northeast will travel to North Penn Wednesday.
