An Elyse Skerpon goal midway through the second half propelled Sayre past Wyalusing 4-3 in NTL girls' soccer action Monday.

Wyalusing led off the scoring with a goal just over four minutes into the game. At the 13:15 mark Skerpon tied it up but the Rams got another goal at 32:32 to take a 2-1 lead.

Skerpon's second goal just 20 seconds before the half off a Chloe Tracy assist knotted the game up at the break.

Just over seven minutes into the second half, Sayre's Jess Hickey scored off an Allison Peet assist to put the Redskins up. At 13:30 Wyalusing tied it back up.

Then at 22:51 Skerpon got the hat trick off of a penalty kick when Peet was brought down in the box.

Sayre out shot the Rams 15-11 while Wyalusing had a 6-4 edge in corner kicks.
