SOCCER OFFICIALS:

TROY ROD AND GUN CLUB:

Skeet shoot. 5-stand and trap. Every Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. at the club grounds in Alparon Park.

VALLEY RUNNING CLUB:

Meets at 8 a.m. Saturday's at the Sayre High School track. Everyone of all skill levels welcome.

LERAYSVILLE ANNUAL FIRE DEPARTMENT MODIFIED SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT:

Labor Day weekend Sept. 4-6 at the Leraysville Fireman's ground. Contact John for more information at 744-1633.

PACESETTER BOWLING LEAGUE:

Will start on Thursday, Sept. 9. The league still bowls at 6:45 p.m. If any team needs bowlers either contact Starlite Lanes at 265-2245 or Al Decker at 265-4805.

PINECROFT GOLF COURSE:

Will host a golf tournament to honor Athens' Matt Kennedy who passed away prior to graduating from Athens High School. The event will be held on his birthday, Sept. 18, at 9 a.m. The cost is $50 per person. Money raised will go to the Athens Area School District in Kennedy's name. TOWANDA BOWLERS HALL OF FAME:

Will hold their first meeting of this bowling season on Wednesday night, Sept. 15. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Al and Ruth Decker residence near Durell. At this meeting we will be handing out the 300 club tickets and starting to make plans for our annual February incudtion banquet. For questions call 265-4805.

5K RUN:

On Sunday, September 5th at 6 p.m. in LeRaysville. The race will help support the LeRaysville Fire Company.

HOLY NAME BOWLING:

Holy Name League will start September 13 at 6:30 p.m. if you need bowlers on your team call Wayne at 247-2559 or Tom at 265-2245.

WOMEN BOWLERS:

Are needed for Thursdays at the 1 p.m. Good Time Gals League at Starlite Lanes in North Towanda. Start your own team of three women or there are openings for bowlers to make up a team of three. Anyone interested in bowling now call Tom Johnson at Starlite Lanes, (570) 265-2245.

NEBALL MEETINGS AND ELECTIONS:

NEBALL Monthly meeting and annual elections will be held on Monday, September 20 at 6 p.m. at the NEBALL complex.
