The Sullivan County Griffins picked up a win over CMVT in wrestling action on Thursday, 39-27.

At 106, CMVT's Kale Yacko won by forfeit and at 113, Sullivan County's Shawn Nitcznski won by forfeit.

Sullivan County's Colton Froy won 9-8 over Rusty Crone at 120 and at 126, the Griffins' Brian Smith won 5-1 over John Miller.

CMVT's Ronald Dingle won by fall in 3:21 over James Heinrich at 132 and at 138, Sullivan's Logan Wiles won by fall in 46 seconds over Nate Strout.

The Griffins' Tim Kramer won by forfeit at 145 and Sullivan County's Dane Woodruff won 9-3 over JOrdan Rainer at 152. CMVT's Zach Raup won by fall in 1:43 over Dan Heinrich at 160, while CMVT's Troy Patterson won by forfeit at 170 and CMVT's Hayden Hendricks won 3-0 over Matt Dailey at 182.

The Griffins' Tanner McCarty won by fall in 3:06 over Jamie Strauser at 195, while teammate Nate Ritinski won by forfeit at 285.

Sayre 39, NEB 30

Sayre's James Lee (106), Lucas Murphy (126), Jesse Buck (138) and Justin Boockoff (145) won by forfeit, while the Panthers' Zach Green (138) also won by forfeit.

Sayre's Kyle Post pinned Lucas Slater in 41 seconds at 152 and at 160, Lucas Simonis of Sayre won 7-1 over Austin Saxer. The Panthers' Brandon Devonshire won by fall in 3:46 over Chris Ott at 170 and Sayre's James Harbst won by fall in 2:29 over Brice Myers at 182.

Northeast Bradford's Richard Forbes (195) and Cody Clark (220) won by forfeit, while the Panthers' Dallas VanDerMark won by fall in 1:05 over Zach Cecce at 285.

North Penn 46, Athens 21

Athens Adam Saylor won by forfeit at 106 and North Penn's Jaycob Myers (113), Ben Jackson (152), Skye Stiner (160) and Noah Corwin (195) all won by forfeits.

The Wildcats' Sam Vergason won by fall in 2:59 over Devin Remley at 126 and North Penn's Kenny Creamer won by fall in 1:06 over Brandon Jennings at 132.

Athens' Marshal LeBlanc won by fall in 3:02 over Lucas Groover at 138 and Chris Pack of Athens won 12-7 over CJ Sargent at 145.

North Penn's Robert Minnich won a 9-1 major decision over Patrick Donnelly at 170. North Penn's Nathan Stettler pinned Mitchell Orshal in 57 seconds at 220 and at 285, Nathan Kriner of North Penn pinned Alex Shaughnessy in 35 seconds.
