The Tioga boys topped Marathon 3-1 in IAC bowling action Friday.

Marathon won the first game 847-823 but the Tigers took the next two games 1040-887 and 921-839 to pull out a 2754-2573 win.

Alex Boughton led the Tigers with a 596 series behind games of 185, 222 and 189 while Chris Potucek shot 585 with games of 173, 213 and 199. Josh Welch added a 553 with games of 165, 201 and 187, Zack Krapft rolled a 524 series with games of 162, 199 and 163, Tyler Chesebro shot 479 with games of 127, 205 and 147 and Travis Moyer rolled 459 with games of 135, 138 and 183.

Marathon's Zach Buchalla led all bowlers with a 605 series with games of 185, 222 and 198.

On the girl's side Marathon won 3-1.

Tioga took the first game 669-632 while Marathon won the next two 724-583 and 747-605, out totaling the Tigers 2103-1902.

Ashley Sherman led Tioga with a 444 series behind games of 177, 108 and 159 while Genevieve Burnett rolled 432 with games of 158, 137 and 137.

Also for the Tigers Maddie Cotton rolled 400 with games of 116, 144 and 140, Rachael Schweiger rolled 324 with game sof 102, 94 and 128 and Anna Evanek rolled 302 with games of 116, 100 and 86.

Allyson Loope led Marathon with a 540 series behind games of 161, 170 and 209.

In exhbition action for Tioga Nick Welch rolled 343 with games of 127, 115 and 101.

Tioga bowlers swept Odessa-Montour in IAC bowling action recently.

The boys won with games of 1086, 1023 and 932 for 3041 over OM's 578, 679 and 703 for 1878.

Chris Potucek rolled a 705 series to lead the Tigers with games of 225, 258 and 222 while Alex Boughton shot 617 with games of 245, 224 and 148. Also for Tioga Tyler Chesebro shot a 611 series with games of 216, 194 and 201.

Josh Welch had a 555 series with games of 211, 142 adn 172, Travis Moyer shot a 538 with games of 189, 160 and 189 and Zack Krapf rolled 483 with games of 170, 175 and 138.

The girls rolled games of 699, 631 and 720 for 2060 while Om had games of 613, 601 and 582 for 1796.

Genevieve Burnett led the Tigers with a 484 series behind games of 203, 132 and 149 while Ashley Sherman rolled 482 with games of 141, 142 and 199.

Also for Tioga, Maddie Cotton rolled 476 with games of 139, 158 and 179, Rachael Schweiger rolled 319 with games of 123, 98 and 98 and Anna Evanek rolled 299 with games of 93, 101 and 105.

In boy's exhibition action, Nick Welch rolled 453 with games of 187, 107 and 159 while Max Miller rolled 282 with games of 85, 88 and 109.
