Tioga falls to TAE
TIOGA CENTRAL, N.Y. - The Tigers fell in a tough game against TAE 3-1 Thursday.
Edison took the first game 25-20 while Tioga won the second 25-22. TAE won the next two games 25-21 and 25-23.
"What a great match to coach tonight," Tioga coach Des Ford said, "The two teams played an outstanding match. Both teams came out to win the match and in the end, only one can win."
Jess Ramsey had 10 points, three kills, five digs and 29 assists for Tioga, Audrey Talcott had five points and 10 kills, Kay Pfleghardt had seven points, 11 kills and 19 digs, Cierra House had two points, six kills and three digs and Natalie Burns had six kills and 10 digs.
Chelsea Hutside had 12 points, one ace and 36 assists for Edison while Jaime Snyder had 10 points, six kills, two blocks and 15 digs, Kristin Darr had 13 points and one ace, Katelyn Warren had 12 blocks and Kelsi Root amassed 21 kills, three blocks and nine digs.
TAE are the New York Class D defending state champions.
