The Tioga girls finished 5th overall at the Section IV, Class C track and field championships Thursday.

The Tigers scored 37 points while champions Trumansburg amassed 92, almost more than double the total of second place Walton (49).

For Tioga Charlsie Bowen was sixth in the 100 hurdles at 17.88 while Madison Tinney was second at 12.92. Bowen also took second in the 400 hurdles at 1:07.17.

Tinney took fourth in the 200 at 27.77 while a relay of Malley Bowen, Charlsie Bowen, Kelby Cole and tinney took third in the 4x100 at 54.18.

Tinney was also seventh in the triple jump at 31-feet, 1-inch.

On the boys' side Tioga was 17th with six points.

Trumansburg won with 79 while BGA took second with 74.

Nate Zimmer was third for the Tigers in the discus throw at 116-feet, 11-inches.
