This is their first division of the season.
"It's still just the second game for us," Aiello remarked. "We thought after the game we had a good look at a lot of players, a good look more of what we are trying to do defensively."
Manuel led off the scoring with a 3-yard run followed by the Tanner Folk point after to make it 7-0 Tioga. Folk would kick a 21-yard field goal followed by a 70 yard Manuel touchdown run. Folk's extra point made it 17-0 at the end of the first quarter.
In the second Manuel added a 90 yard run to make it 24-0 after Folk's extra point.
Candor cut it to 24-6 with a 1-yard touchdown run but Vergason struck back with a 55 yard touchdown run. Folk's kick made it 31-6 at the half.
In the second half Vergason had a 24 yard touchdown in the third followed by a Jake Lewis 2-yard touchdown run in the fourth to round out their scoring.
Vergason was 2-for-6 for 24 yards and an interception through the air.
"We still have quite a bit of work to do there on that," Aiello said about their passing game. "We feel we have some weapons we can utilize in that game."
Adam Zwierlein had a catch for 19 yards while Manuel had one for five.
Tioga will travel to Seton Catholic for another divisional game next week.
