After the Towanda 11 and 12 year boys all star teams run ended in the district playoff, the boys didn't quit. They took the field in the 18th annual Jamie Ungerland Memorial Wooden Bat Tournament. This tournament was held in Elmira and consisted of 13 quality all star teams from the upper Pennsylvania and New York state area. It was a double elimination tournament, following Little League tournament rules. The boys used great pitching, good defense and timely hitting to bring home the gold by compiling a 5-1 record.

Towanda 8, Johnson City 4

Brayden Manchester started on the mound striking out 7 batters in 4 innings of work. Brett Crispell came in to relieve, finishing the game and striking out one. Noah Shafer and Devin Dunn lead the Towanda batters with 2 singles and a double each, Tanner Kunkle had a single and a triple, Brett Crispell and Skylar Allen added 2 singles each and Brayden Manchester added one.

Towanda 4, Corning 3

Devin Dunn started on the mound striking out 7 in four innings of work. Tanner Kunkle came in to close out the game striking out one. Dunn lead the Towanda batters with 2 singles, Preston Rogers and Brayden Manchester each added a double, Tanner Kunkle, Brett Crispell and Blake Templeton added singles.

Towanda 6, Mark Twain 2

Tanner Kunkle started on the mound striking out 4 in 4 innings of work. Brett Crisppell came in to relieve striking out 3 in 2 innings to finish the game. Brett Crispell lead the Towanda batters with 2 singles and a double, Devin Dunn added 3 singles, while Tanner Kunkle, Preston Rogers, Skylar Allen and Brayden Manchester added singles.

Towanda 4, Big Flats 3

Devin Dunn started on the mound throwing 5 2/3 innings striking out 7. Tanner Kunkle came in to relieve striking out the final batter. Skylar Allen, Brayden Manchester, Noah Shafer and Preston Rogers lead the batters each with singles, Tanner Kunkle and Brett Crispell each reached the bases on a fielder's choice.

Championship Game 1

West Elmira A 5, Towanda 4

Tanner Kunkle started on the mound going 5 2/3 innings striking out 8. Preston Rogers came in in relief striking out. Three miscues on defense put Towanda down by 3 early in the game, the boys battled back but dropped a heart breaker 5 to 4. Preston Rogers lead the Towanda batters with a double and a single, Brett Crispell, Tanner Kunkle, Skylar Allen and Noah Shafer each added singles.

Championship Game 2

Towanda 7, West Elmira A 6

Brayden Manchester started on the mound going 5 2/3 innings striking out 4. Skylar Allen came in in relief to hold the game at a 6 to 6 tie. With some timely hitting in the bottom of the 6th the boys battled back and pulled out the win. Tanner Kunkle lead the Towanda batters with 2 doubles, Blake Templeton added a double, Brett Crispell, Brayden Manchester, Dawson Manning and Noah Shafer each added singles.
