The Towanda tennis team dropped a 4-1 match to Jersey Shore on Thursday.

Towanda's win came at third singles where Hannah Innocenzo topped Anya Klimichev 6-1, 6-3.

In first singles Jersey Shore's Sara Donley topped Kaitlin Hallabuk 6-2, 6-0 and Jordan Collins topped Towanda's Carly Chaffee 6-3, 6-1 at second singles.

In first doubles Holly Endes and Megan Bower topped Towanda's Erica Place and Katie Christian 6-2, 7-6 (7-1) and Meghan Herman and Michala Alexander won second doubles over Towanda's Madison Flynn and Mary Fink 6-0, 6-1.

South Williamsport 5, CV 2

Hayley Painter got a win at first singles for CV defeating Annie Fessler 3-6, 7-6 (11-9), 7-5 and in second doubles Deb Bieser and McKenzie Sweet won 6-3, 6-0 over Gracie Estrella and Rebecca Sauers.

South got wins at second singles where Hannah Summerson won 6-1, 6-0 over Courtney Schauer and at third singles Megan Rovenolt won 6-3, 6-4 over Sweet, while at fourth singles Daisy Rundio won 6-1, 6-1 over Bieser and at fifth singles Rachel Kita won 6-4, 6-4 over Amanda Painter.

At first doubles Noelle Gair and Monique McLaughlin won 2-6, 6-3, 10-4 over Schauer and Amanda Painter.
