Some may have feared that a bye week might ruin Susquehanna's momentum from its shutout of Muhlenberg two weeks ago, but those worries were for naught as the Crusaders defeated Moravian 38-18 in Bethlehem on Saturday afternoon.

As a team, SU (3-3, 2-3) had 403 total offensive yards to just 264 from Moravian (2-4, 2-3). More than 220 of the Crusaders' yards came on the ground as Connor McGrath racked up 202 yards on 34 carries and had three touchdowns for Susquehanna.

Senior Mike Ritter caught two touchdown passes as he clearly made the most of his three receptions and 83 yards.

Towanda graduate Cody Miller had two tackles for SU.

Ursinus 37, Juniata 27

A 13-point fourth quarter was not enough to lift the Juniata College football team to victory during homecoming Saturday afternoon. The Eagles (1-5, 0-5 Landmark) fell to Landmark Conference rival Ursinus College 37-27. Ursinus improved to 4-2 with the win, 3-2 in league play.

Juniata produced more offensive yards than the Bears in the game, outrushing them 102-12. The Eagles ground attack was led by junior Zach McCaulley who finished with a game-high 51 yards on 13 carries with zero rushes for a loss.

Waverly graduate Kevin Gorman had six total tackles for Juniata.

Lebanon Valley 21, Wilkes 13

After falling behind 14-0 after three quarters of play, visiting Wilkes University began a comeback scoring two touchdowns in the final frame, but host Lebanon Valley stopped one last Colonel game-tying drive to escape with a 21-13 Middle Atlantic Conference win Saturday afternoon at Arnold Field.

Wilkes slips to 3-3 overall and 2-3 in MAC play. Lebanon Valley improves to 4-2 and 3-2 in league games.

Waverly's Jeff Mastrantuono is on the Wilkes roster.
