Sophomore Caleb Willey of Towanda finished off his run at the Budd Whitehill National Duals with a perfect 4-0 record for the Lycoming College wrestling team, but the Warriors fell to Waynesburg, 33-9, in the challenge brackets on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 12.

Willey, who posted three wins on Friday, notched a 6-0 decision over Jake Vitolo at 141 pounds, gave the Warriors an early 9-3 lead after a forfeit win at 133 pounds, but Waynesburg won the last seven bouts.

Sophomore Cody Barbiche (125), freshman Matt Neff (149) and senior Tyler Cunningham (184) each had tough losses, falling by just one point.

The Warriors get back into action on Saturday, Jan. 19, when they head to SUNY Cortland for the Empire Collegiate Wrestling Conference Championships at 9 a.m.
