Towanda picked up an NTL wrestling win over North Penn 48-15 Thursday.

"I thought we wrestled tonight," Towanda coach Bill Sexton said. "Good matches out of the kids that won up and down the line."

At 195 Towanda's Logan Terry scored a 5-0 decision over North Penn's Ben Wilson while at 220 Knight Jeremy Sheets scored a 4-2 sudden victory win over Zachary Kriner.

North Penn's Nathan Kriner scored a fall over Towanda's Talon Curry in 4:21 at 285 while at 106 Towanda's Kyle Blascak earned a 9-5 decision over North Penn's Sean Giles.

In the heavyweight bout it was 1-1 in the third when Kriner was able to turn Curry.

Knight Jared Lines took a forfeit at 113.

At 120 Towanda's Nick Secules pinned North Penn's Jaycob Myers in 5:29 while at 126 Knight Terrick Vargason earned a 3-1 decision over North Penn's Charlie Andrews.

At 132 North Penn's Brad Pequignot scored a 9-7 sudden victory win against Steven Yates while at 138 Towanda's Matt Bartholomew pinned North Penn's Devin Remley in 3:19.

"I thought Yates wrestled well in defeat," Sexton remarked. "He came back and scored six points in the third period to tie the match up."

At 145 Towanda's Justin Sheets scored a 7-3 decision over North Penn's Lucas Groover while at 152 Knight Dayton Wickwire pined up a fall over C.J. Sargent in 1:07.

Towanda's Justin Hunsinger scored a forfeit at 160 while at 170 Towanda's Cole Sexton decisioned Ben Jackson 4-2.

In the final match North Penn's Robert Minnich pinned Towanda's Dakoatah Manning in 1:28.

Wyalusing 69, Northeast Bradford 6

The Rams won all but one match in their NTL win Thursday.

Wyalusing's Jacob Sandfort (106), Tracey Brown (113), Colston Gowin (120), Brandon Kelley (126), Justin Haley (132), David Brown (138) and Ryan Force (145) scored forfeits.

At 152 Wyalusing's Tyler Fenton earned an 8-5 decision over Northeast Bradford's Austin Saxer while at 160 Panther Brandon Devonshire pinned Ram Jake Minturn in 3;57.

At 170 Wyalusing's Justin Griffith scored a fall over NEB's Mike Buttacavoli in 1:46 while at 182 Ram Zane Vaskas pinned Northeast's Ryan Russell in 18 seconds.

After a double forfeit at 195 Wyalusing's Dylan Otis scored a fall over Richard Forbes in 3:29 at 220 while at 285 Ram Dalton Chilson pinned Cody Clark in 1:32.
