ATHENS - The Trojans clinched the NTL East volleyball title by beating Athens 3-0 Tuesday.

Troy won the games 25-16, 25-6 and 25-11.

For Troy Mikayla Bristol had 10 points, five aces, eight kills and six digs while Kelsey Bristol had seven points, three aces, seven kills, one block, six digs and 10 assists; Jordan Ellsworth had 10 points, two aces, three kills, two blocks and one assist, Taryn Hicks had nine points, four aces, five kills, three digs and one assist, Lynzi Rountree had five points, one kill, three digs and eight aces, Jennifer Shults had four points, three aces and two digs, Haley Brown had six points, two aces and two assists, Marlee Pick had two points, one ace and one dig while Courtney Woodward had four digs.

For Athens Taylor McDuffee had five points.

Athens won the JV match 25-17 and 25-19. Jessie Hoose had nine points for the Wildcats while Shaynia Burns had eight points, eight digs and three kills.

Towanda 3, Sayre 0

25-10, 25-20, 25-13

TOWANDA ­- The Black Knights picked up an NTL East volleyball win Tuesday.

For Towanda Alaina Wickwire had 11 points, 13 kills, one block and 10 digs, Alysha Grimes had seven points, 19 assists and two digs, Kayla Grimes had seven points and one dige, Alacia White had six points, nine kills and three digs, Hailey Innocenzo had five points, six kills and 12 digs, Paige Vanderpool had two kills, two blocks and a point, Tara Welliver had two kills and one dig, Emily Gorman had three points and four digs, Roni Black had a point, Amy Zhang had a dig, Kaitlyn West had two digs, Kayla Brown had one point, eight assists and four digs, Lindsay Vincent had one dig and Sarah Dawsey had three points and two digs.

For Sayre Shelby Vaughn had 16 assists and five digs, Brooke Wampole had five points, six digs, eight kills and one block, Tia Archer had five points, three digs and two kills, Kaitlyn Tappan had two points and seven digs, Paige Wampole had two digs, five kills and three blocks, Shelby Coolbaugh had 10 digs and three kills while Maria Servedio had two digs and one kills.

Towanda won the JV match 25-9, 25-10.

For the Knights Morgan Johnson had 14 points, Liz Mosier and Sierra Allen had four each, Black had five points and two kills, Elizabeth Heeman had two points, Alison Pepper had one point, Kayla Brown had three points and four assists, Samantha Peachey had two kills, Kayla Miller had three points and two kills, Casey Hawley had one point and Jayde Parsons had one kill.

Hannah Hitchcock had three points for Sayre.

The Green Hornets picked up an NTL West win Tuesday.

Hannah Zuchowski had 20 kills for the HOrnets while Mackenzie Marple had five kills, 24 assists, 10 points and 14 digs. Also for Wellsboro Alex Kurtz had 13 assists, Kaelyn Keane had 13 points and Katie Straniere had 13 digs.

For Canton Kelsey Ross had four points, one ace, five kills and 19 digs, Chelsey Heatley had six points, two aces, four kills, two assists and 11 digs, Maggy Machmer had three points, three aces, six assists and four digs, Lexi Schmelzle had three points, one ace, three kills and two digs, Victoria Burguess had one point, one kill and one dig and Kaylin Baker had one point and 15 digs.

Wellsboro won the JV match 25-13, 26-14.

For Canton Cheyenne Fromille had five points, Sammy DelJonovan had nine assists, Kelsey Griffin had seven kills and Trisha Brown had 17 digs.

Wellsboro hosts Athens Thursday.

The Rams picked up an NTL East volleyball win Tuesday.

Joanna McGee had eight kills and three blocks for Wyalusing while Erika Huffman had nine kills and two blocks. Also for the Rams Jessica Carr had three kills and three aces, Cassie Nedley had two kills and four aces, Roni Morrison had four kills and Christina Hons had 19 assists.

LuAnne Antisdel had two aces, one kill, four digs and one block for the Panthers while Mariah Everly had one ace, one dig and one kill.

Also for Northeast Courtney Emick had an ace and dig, Michala Kuhlman had a dig, Macy Wilks had two digs and one block, Kayla Russell had one ace and one assist, Allison Mosier had a dig, Mariah Taylor had an assist, Abbey Cole had a kill and Abby Hawley had an ace.

Wyalusing won the JV match 25-23, 25-7.

Keon Copp had three kills and seven aces for the Rams while Brooke Force had three kills, Maddy Eberlin had three assists, Danelle Salsman had two assists and Randi Huffman had three assists.

For Northeast Mackenzie Moore had two aces while Wilks had two kills. Also for the Panthers Hawley had an assist, Carly Branch had one block, Russell had an assist and Taylor had a dig.

Wyalusing is at Williamson Thursday.

The Tigers picked up an NTL West volleyball win Tuesday.

Maddie York had 17 points, seven aces, five kills and six digs for Mansfield while Shannon Madigan had five points, eight kills and nine digs.

Also for the Tigers Whitney Holdren had four points and three kills, Cassie Frederick had three points, one ace, five kills and 18 assists, Autumn Long had seven points and six aces, Mariah Berguson had five kills and Justin Berkowitz added 11 assists.

CV won the JV match 2-1.

Mansfield hosts Sayre Thursday.
