TROY - The Trojans jumped out early in their 62-38 win over Northeast Bradford in NTL East boys' basketball action Tuesday.

The win keeps Troy's playoff hopes alive. They are now 9-11 and need to win their final two games to get in, both home meetings with Wellsboro today and Towanda Friday.

Brandon Mattocks led Troy with 19 points and six steals while Evan Polly and Ryan Reeves had 12 points each. Reeves added eight boards as well.

Jared Murray scored eight points, Gage Burns netted four, Jed Wright had three while Thomas Swain and Chad Cole had two points each.

Wright also had five assists and five steals.

Todd Bonin led Northeast with 15 points while Jordan Goodwin netted 11. Shawn Hakes scored nine, Andy Seeley scored two and Nikolaus Geiser netted one.

Sullivan County 60, Benton 28

The Griffins won their final game of the season in Heartland Conference boys' basketball action Tuesday.

Conner Wylie led Sullivan with 15 points and six boards while Derek Wilkins added 14 points and six rebounds.

Zach Meyer and Kelby Mullen scored eight points each with Mullen adding four assists and seven steals.

Sean Flannery netted five points, Lucas Hatton and Adam Szklanka scored four points each while Jordan Beinlich rounded out the Griffin scoring with two.

Hayden Carshner led Benton with 11 points.

Sullivan won the JV game 75-25 led by 16 points from Szklanka.

The Griffins finish their season 20-2 overall and 12-2 in the Heartland Conference, Division III.
