A late push by the Trojans propelled them past North Penn 43-21 in NTL wrestling action Tuesday.

North Penn won the first bouts as C.J. Sargent scored a 3-1 decision over Troy's Ross Sherman at 160 pounds while at 170 Robert Minnich pinned Landis Zimmerman in 3:58 at 170.

At 195, Troy's Briar Jenkins pinned North Penn's Ben Wilson in 3:01 but at 220 Panther Zachary Kriner scored an 8-2 decision over Troy's Skyler Drake.

At 285, North Penn's Nathan Kriner pinned Troy's Dylan Brennan in 45 seconds.

Troy's Hunter Cohick scored a forfeit at 106 while there was a double forfeit at 113.

At 120, Troy's Colin Binford scored an 8-6 win over North Penn's Jaycob Myers in overtime while at 126, Panther Charlie Andrews decisioned Troy's Ethan Calkins 2-1.

Troy would take the next four matches.

At 132, Jared Spalding scored an injury default win over Sean Kshir while at 138, Nick Bruce scored a major decision over North Penn's Bradley Pequignot 14-2. At 145, Trey Murray pinned Devin Remley in 4:44 while at 152 Nick Stephani pinned Lucas Groover in 1:21.

Towanda 72, Northeast Bradford 5

LERAYSVILLE - The Black Knights took 13 of the 14 bouts in their NTL win Tuesday.

At 126, Towanda's Terrick Vargason scored a fall over Northeast Bradford's Cody Bond in 54 seconds while Knights Steven Yates (132) and Breycin Fulmer (138) earned forfeits.

At 145, Northeast Bradford's Austin Saxer scored a 16-1 technical fall over Towanda's Justin Sheets in 5:46 while at 152, Towanda's Dayton Wickwire scored a forfeit.

At 160, Towanda's Justin Hunsinger decisioned Northeast's Brandon Devonshire 2-0 while at 170, Knight Cole Sexton scored a fall over Mike Buttacavoli in 1:20.

At 182, Towanda's Jacob Maynard pinned Panther Ryan Russell in 3:12 while at 195 Towanda's Logan Terry pinned Jordan Krudup in 33 seconds.

At 220, Towanda's Dakoatah Manning scored a 9-5 decision over Northeast's Richard Forbes while at 285, Towanda's Talon Curry pinned Northeast's Cody Clark in 2:53.

The Knights then had three forfeit wins in a row from Jared Lines (106), Kyle Blascak (113) and Nick Secules (120).

Towanda travels to the Juniata Duals on Saturday with a 9 a.m. start.

Williamson 72, Sayre 11

SAYRE - The match began at 170 as Warrior RC Hunter pinned Sayre's James Harbst in 3:25 while Williamson got three forfeits from Mark Brennan (182), John Nevius (195) and Dakota Bolt (220). At 285 Williamson's Darryl Hoffman pinned Sayre's Cody Naylor in 2:41.

The Warriors got a forfeit from Roger Neal (106) while Sayre's Gavin Lundy-McCutcheon (113) scored a forfeit. At 120 Williamson's Carl Gorg pinned Sayre's Damon Whipple in 3:06 while at 126 Warrior Herman Briggs earned a forfeit.

At 132, Williamson's Logan Everett pinned Sayre's Lucas Murphy in 2:49, at 138, Williamson's Trevor McWhorter pinned Sayre's Logan Platt in 40 seconds and at 145 Williamson's Billy Barnes pinned Sayre's Matthew Frantz in 29 seconds.

At 152, Williamson's Garrett Heffner scored a forfeit while at 160, Sayre's Kyle Post scored an 18-3 technical fall over Williamson's Connor Brown in 5:13.
