CANTON - The Troy Trojans swept the Canton Warriors 3-0 in volleyball action on Thursday, winning 25-20, 25-19, 25-10.

Troy got 23 points, four aces and 15 digs from Courtney Woodward and Kelsey Bristol had six points, two aces, six kills, eight digs and 18 assists.

Jordan Ellsworth had five points, two aces, four kills and three blocks, Lynzi Rountree had four points, two aces and 10 assists, Mikayla Bristol had 13 kills and seven digs and Taryn Hicks had 13 kills, a block and 20 digs.

Canton got nine points, seven kills and 16 digs from Macy McMurray and Kaylin Baker had 16 digs, while Maggy Machmer finished with four points, an ace, 11 assists and seven digs.

Chelsey Heatley had seven kills and 13 digs and Kellsy Ross had three points and six kills.

Troy won the JV match 25-12, 25-20.

Becca Brown had six points and Trisha Brown had four and three aces for Canton.

Canton hosts Wyalusing on Tuesday.

Hannah Zuchowski had 20 kills, putting her over 800 for her career, and she added 10 points and 19 digs in the match.

Mackenzie Marple had 18 assists and eight digs, with six kills, and Alex Kurtz had nine assists, while Kaelyn Keane finished with 15 points.

Athens got three points, five digs and six kills from Taylor McDuffee and 14 digs from Sarah Slocum.

Wellsboro won the JV match 25-14, 25-14.

Athens got six points from Aleah Dudash and five from Jessie Hoose.

Wellsboro hosts Towanda on Tuesday.

The Warriors stayed undefeated on the season with the victory.

Kim Daugherty had 13 kills and three blocks, Katie Haslund had 21 points, four aces, six digs and six receptions and Lindsea Jones had 25 assists.

Sierra Magnotta had eight receptions and five digs.

Wyalusing got seven kills and seven assists from Erika Huffman, Christina Hons had 12 assists, Jessica Carr had five kills and three blocks and Roni Morrison had seven blocks and four kills.

The Wolverines stayed unbeaten with the win Thursday.

Morgan Salsman had 14 points and six aces, Jordan Raupers had 11 points, seven aces, four kills and 17 assists and Dana Langdon had seven points and three kills.

Erin Fagan had six points, four aces, seven kills and a block, Bailey Tryon had three digs, Sam Mennig had six points, nine assists, six kills and three digs and Becca Morgan had three kills.

Newark Valley got eight assists and an ace from Lindsay Corson, Victoria Morse had five kills and six digs and Jordie Clotegon had six digs and six points.

Waverly won the JV match 25-10, 25-8, 25-19.

Kendra Ellers had 18 points and eight aces, Karleigh VanNess had 11 points and six aces, Angelica Hager had eight points, four aces, six assists and three kills and Hannah Place had five points and five kills.

The Black Knights got 14 points and 10 digs from Emily Gorman and Alysha Grimes had 13 points, three kills, 29 assists and seven digs.

Alacia White had 12 points, nine kills, two blocks and a dig, Hailey Innocenzo had five points, seven kills, a block and 10 digs and Paige Vanderpool had eight blocks and seven digs.

Alaina Wickwire had three points, 15 kills, a block and four digs and Kayla Brown had six points, eight digs and an assist.

CV won the JV match 25-17, 25-16.

Towanda got four points and 12 assists from Brown, Morgan Johnson had three points and two kills, Sam Peachey had three points and two kills, Tara Welliver had three kills and Kayla Grimes had a point and five kills. Sarah Dawsey had three kills and Kayla Miller had two points.
