Troy won the Gold Bracket of the Central Mountain Tournament over the weekend.

They went undefeated in pool play, beating Central Mountain 25-10 and 25-20, Bellefonte 25-14 and 25-21, Mansfield 25-22 and 25-11 and Cameron County 25-14 and 25-17.

In the semi-finals they lost their first game to West Branch 25-23 but won the next two 25-20 and 15-8.

Then in the finals they beat Phillipsburg 25-19 and 25-17 for the title.

Kelsey Bristol was named the Offensive MVP with 17 points, three aces, 39 kills, two blocks and 20 digs.

Lynzi Rountree had 20 points, five aces, four kills, 12 digs and 69 assists, Taryn Hicks had 51 points, nine aces, 13 kills, three blocks, 27 digs and four assists, Jordan Ellsworth had 27 points nine aces, 28 kills, 18 blocks, 11 digs and two assists and Kristyn Kinner had 29 points, five aces, seven kills, eight blocks, seven digs and four assists.

Also for the Trojans Jenn Shults had 17 points, four aces, 19 kills, eight blocks and one dig, Faith Cryon had three points, three aces and two assists, Kari Ammerman had 20 digs, Melissa Hulslander had 10 digs, Jamie Patrick added a point while Kira Vroman chipped in with a kill.

Troy will travel to CV Tuesday.

Canton also competed at the Central Mountain Tournament.

They lost to West Branch 25-10, 25-16 and 15-13, to Penns Valley 25-13, 25-8 and 17-15, to Wyalusing 25-16, 25-19 and 15-5 and Bellefonte 25-18 and 25-17.

They swept Cameron County 25-21 and 25-11.

On the day Kellsy Ross had six aces and 33 digs, Brandon Fleming had four aces, 13 kills and four blocks, Cheyenne Fromille had four aces and 21 digs, Katie Henson had four aces, 10 kills and 33 digs, Emalie Marnati had 12 kills, Maggy Machmer had 33 assists, Sammy Dejanovan had 12 assists and Trisha Brown had 19 digs.
