The Big 33 Scholarship Foundation has announced the players to compete in the inaugural Big 26 Baseball Classic.

The Classic will be played July 20-22. Game one is at 6:45 p.m. on Friday, July 20 at Soverign Bank Stadium in York. Game two is July 21 at 6:45 p.m. at Soverign Bank Stadium and game three is July 22 at 6 p.m. at Metro Bank Park in Harrisburg.

Mansfield's Taylor Hillson and Sam Rotella are both among the players on the team for the classic.

The Pennsylvania team will be managed by Nate Ebbert of Red Land High School and coached by Mike Welch of Pottsville.

After 55 years of success with the Big 33 Football Classic this is the first Big 26 Baseball Classic.

The classic is a showcase featuring top rising juniors from Pennsylvania and Maryland. Tryouts were held at Lebanon Valley College on May 27. The team was selected by Big 26 coaches, and the 16 professional and college scouts in attendance and the Big 26 baseball advisory committee.
