Williamson let a big lead slip away as they opened their season with a loss to Addison 55-46 in boys' basketball action Saturday.

The Warriors led 17-8 after the first quarter but Addison rallied in the second, cutting the deficit to 28-24 at the half.

Williamson held the lead through the third quarter but a 19-8 fourth quarter in favor of Addison propelled them to the win.

Hunter Hewitt had 22 points to lead the Warriors while Canyon Black added 10. Troy Adriance netted six while Nick Cevette and Shea Dailey had two points apiece.

Andrew Metarko led Addison with 17 points while Dalton Lewis (13 points) and Zach Knapp (11) were also in double figures.
