In a season that saw records fall like pins for Waverly it was only fitting that the Wolverines pull off another one.

The Waverly boys bowling team swept Lansing 4-0 in IAC action Thursday to finish the regular season undefeated, 56-0, for the first time in school record.

Waverly had games of 1125, 1135 and 1127 for 3387 while Lansing rolled 851, 940 and 973 for 2764.

Mason Beard led the Wolverines with a 773 series behind games of 215, 279 and 279 while John Panek rolled 684 with games of 237, 223 and 224.

Also for Waverly Billy Cowles rolled 669 with games of 228, 217 and 224, Ben Cowles rolled 633 with games of 245, 181 and 207, Cameron Lunn rolled 616 with games of 200, 227 and 189 and Kyle Pruyne rolled 552 with games of 170, 189 and 193.

Cole Quigley rolled 589 with games of 165, 243 and 181 to lead Lansing.

On the girls' side Waverly went 4-0 as well.

Karleigh VanNess rolled 665 with games of 277, 225 and 163 to lead Waverly while Allyson Stewart rolled 638 with games of 212, 215 and 211.
