The Wolverines boys and girls bowlers swept Newark Valley 4-0 in IAC bowling action Tuesday.

For the boys, Waverly had games of 1122, 1021 and 1072 for 3215 against the Cardinals 877, 912 and 853 for 2642.

Mason Beard led the Wolverine charge with a 733 series behind games of 240, 227 and 266 while Ben Cowles rolled 638 with games of 226, 225 and 187. Also above 600 was Conner Joseph at 609 with games of 222, 169 and 218.

Cameron Lunn had a 599 series for Waverly behind games of 181, 219 and 199, Billy Cowles rolled 594 with games of 211, 181 and 202 and Trevor Campbell rolled 544 with games of 223, 168 and 153.

Dustin Shoemaker had a 592 series behind games of 202, 205 and 185 to lead Newark Valley.

On the girls' side, Waverly had games of 844, 908 and 912 for 2664 over Newark Valley's 765, 865 and 781 for 2411.

Amanda Northrop's 645 series led all bowlers behind games of 213, 222 and 210.

Also for the Wolverines, Meaghann Campbell rolled 537 with games of 155, 202 and 180, Erin Fagan rolled 507 with games of 176, 161 and 170, Karleigh VanNess rolled 477 with games of 148, 183 and 146, Allyson Stewart rolled 475 with games of 152, 140 and 183 and Sam Mennig shot 439 with games of 139, 131 and 169.

Kalei Fenn led the Cardinals with a 619 series behind games of 202, 201 and 216.

In boys' exhibition action for Waverly, Tim Woodcock rolled a 401 series behind games of 143, 144 and 114 while Chris Johnson rolled 361 with games of 109, 113 and 139.

On the girls' side, Brooke Rosh rolled 411 with games of 103, 154 and 154, Carly Quinn rolled 384 with games of 147, 124 and 113, Mckenzie Murdough shot 322 with games of 101, 99 and 122 and Cassy Bowman rolled 304 with games of 110, 75 and 119.

Led by Alex Sherman's 676 series the Crusaders were able from a first game loss to top the Senecas in IAC bowling action Tuesday.

Watkins Glen took the first game 867-828 but Notre Dame won the next two 956-928 and 856-839 while winning overall (2640-2634) by six pins.

Sherman rolled 175, 256 and 245 for the high series while Mathew Dieg rolled 611 behind games of 191, 239 and 181.

Also for the Crusaders, Joel Siedman rolled 539 with games of 183, 213 and 143, Riccardo Gennali shot 523 with games of 183, 183 and 157, Chris Tuma rolled 438 with games of 142, 150 and 146 and Joe Rickard shot a 376 series with games of 137, 98 and 141.

Billy Brennan's 578 series behind games of 177, 215 and 186 led the Senecas.

On the girls' side Watkins Glen rolled games of 698, 815 and 793 for a total of 2306 past Notre Dame's 685, 709 and 677 for 2071.

Cassie Berry's 553 series led behind games of 198, 188 and 167 led the Crusaders.
