Waverly had several runners earn places at an indoor track and field age group meet over the weekend.

In the 9th-10th grade girls' division, Kaylee Uhl won the 600 in 1:45.76 while Sidney Shaffer was third in the 55 hurdles at 10.12, a personal best. Shaffer also took third in the pole vault at 8-feet, a season best.

Kelsey Frank finished fifth in the 1500 at 5:41.62.

In the 11th-12th grade division, Katelyn Moore was fourth in the 600 at 1:52.25 while also taking sixth in the 300 at 46.3.

On the day the Wolverines had two relays place.

The 800 relay of Liia Carpenter, Samantha Goble, Danielle Burkhart and Lea McMahon was third in 1:54.48.

The sprint medley relay of Carpenter, McMahon, Uhl and Goble was third as well in 4:28.30.

On the boys' side, in the 9th-10th grade division, Jacob Goble was second in the 300 at 40.70, a season best.

Also, in the 800 relay, a team of Goble, Rich Northrop, Jimmy Heffner and Jon Puusalu took fourth in 1:41.01.

Waverly will be up at Cornell for the Hurley-Quinney Invitational at 9 a.m.
