Waverly's Bowman, Notre Dame's Garvin named IAC Large South MVPs
After leading her team to an undefeated division record, Waverly's Sabrina Bowman was named the IAC Large School South girls' MVP.
The first team includes fellow Wolverines Reylyn Schwartzhoff, Jenna Bowman and Emiley Myers along with Notre Dame's Sheridan Heine and Olivia May.
The Second Team is made up of Waverly's Emily Walker, Notre Dame's Kaylyn Curran, Watkins Glens' Amanda Pike and Madison Gates and Newark Valley's Marley Norton.
Honorable mention includes Waverly's Victoria Cron, Kylee Newman and Jordan Raupers, Notre Dame's Mara Skordynski and Newark Valley's Hannah Luszczek.
On the boys' side Notre Dame sophomore Darius Garvin was named the MVP.
The first team boasts three players from Watkins Glen: Josh Teeter, Jesse Teeter and Brady Myers, along with Waverly's Patric Bronson and Notre Dame's Tom Agan.
The second team includes Waverly's Dylan Perry, Chris Raupers and Cody Marchese, Notre Dame's Derek Marshall and Sean Brown and Newark Valley's Ryan Coleman and Blake Novi.
