Waverly's Frank, Tioga's Predix earn school records
Waverly's Kelsey Frank and Tioga's Tyler Predix wrote themselves in their school's record books Monday.
Frank was second in the Class B 2000 meter steeplechase in 8:09.06 and breaking the old record of 8:09.06 set by Courtney Ward back in 2010.
Fellow Wolverine Katelyn Moore was third in the steeplechase in 8:25.15.
In the boys' pentathlon Tioga's Tyler Predix was sixth overall and second in Class C with 2585 points, a new school record for the Tigers.
The two of them scored 14 points for Waverly as they will continue the Class B meet this Thursday at Windsor.
In Class C Tioga's Emily Stansfield was 12th in the 2000 meter steeplechase with a time of 10:09.14.
In the Class D 3000 meter steeplechase Notre Dame's Garrett Butters was second in 10:42.5.
In the girls' pentathlon Tioga's Malley Bowen was fifth overall and second in Class C with 2177 points.
The Class meets will continue Thursday with Waverly at Windsor, Tioga at Newark Valley and Notre Dame at Marathon.
