WAVERLY - The Wolverines boys' swim team rolled to a 118-45 victory over Odessa-Montour on Thursday night.

Captains John Hallett and Josh Mastrantuono were both quadruple winners to lead the Wolverines.

Mike Girolamo was a triple winner on the day and Caleb Jenkins and Tanner Burt were double winners and Fred Miller notched his first varsity win in his second meet as a member of the 200 free relay.

Also turning in strong performances for Waverly were Gary Moorehead in the 200 free and 100 back, Brandon Anderson in the 100 fly, Kendrick Wood in the 50 and 100 frees, Lucas Beardsley in the 200 IM and 100 breast, Jacob Hazen in the 50 free and Brandon Whitley in the 500 free.

Hallett, Girolamo, Mastrantuono and Jenkins won the 200 medley relay in 1:54.67 and Girolamo won the 200 free in 2:20.54, while Moorehead took third in 2:25.77.

Mastrantuono won the 200 IM in 2:20.30, followed by Burt (2:38.36) and Beardsley (2:53.72).

Jenkins took second in the 50 free in 26.12, followed by Ken Wood in 26.93.

Nick Peterson won the diving at 158.80, followed by teammate Brady Sprague at 76.50, with both diving as exhibition.

In the 100 fly, Hallett won in 1:03.97, followed by Whitley in 1:16.63 and Girolamo in 1:16.97.

In the 100 free, Jenkins took second in 1:00.87 followed by Wood in 1:04.02.

Mastrantuono won the 500 free in 5:52.47, followed by Whitley in 6:46.51 and in the 200 free relay Wood, Burt, Miller and Jenkins won in 1:49.01.

Hallett won the 100 back in 1:00.85, followed by Moorehead (1:17.37) and Sprague (1:32.30) and Burt won the 100 breast in 1:12.88, followed by Beardsley (1:28.84).

Mastrantuono, Girolamo, Hallett and Whitley won the 400 free relay in 4:08.22.

Waverly travels to Dryden on Tuesday and hosts Sayre on Thursday and Athens on Friday.
