The Waverly Wolverines rolled to a 3-0 win over Watkins Glen on Wednesday, winning 25-22, 25-19, 25-13.

Jordan Raupers had 10 points, 16 assists and seven kills and Sam Mennig had 13 points, three aces and 15 assists as Waverly improved to 6-2.

Morgan Salsman had four digs, Erin Fagan had nine kills and Valerie Sjoblom had seven points, three aces and eight kills for the Wolverines.

Hannah Place added five points and four kills and Karleigh VanNess had five points for Waverly.

Watkins Glen got five points, three aces and 11 digs from Mikayla Elliot and Gabby Larosa had an ace, 16 digs and seven points, while Brooke Shaffer had four points, an ace, three kills and two digs.

Maya Polumbo had an assist, an ace, seven digs and four points and Amanda Cherock had four points, an ace, an assist, a kill and seven digs.

Waverly won the JV match 22-25, 25-13, 25-7.

Shailei Kraft had 13 points and 10 aces for Waverly and Kalie Herriman had nine points and six aces, while Kendra Ellers had four digs and four kills.

Waverly is at Athens on Monday.

Tioga 3, Newark Valley 0

25-6, 25-21, 25-10

Charlsie Bowen had seven points and five kills for Tioga and Malley Bowen had 15 points, four digs and nine assists.

Donette Huthison had eight points, six digs and 19 kills and Lexi Swagler had 17 points, a block and four kills.

Madi Obregon had seven assists for Newark Valley and Jordie Obregon had three kills, while Aryana Wing had six points, an ace, three kills and five digs and Victoria Morse had an ace.

"Newark Valley was a very scrappy team," Tioga coach Des Ford said. "They did a great job hustling."

Tioga won the JV match 25-14, 25-22.

Tioga hosts Edison on Friday.
