WAVERLY, N.Y. - The Wolverines improved to 11-0 overall with a 3-0 victory over Spencer Van-Etten on Wednesday.

Waverly won 25-8, 25-14, 25-11.

Valerie Sjoblom had 18 points with nine aces, including 14 straight points in the second game.

Sam Mennig had eight points, 11 assists and six digs, Bailey Tryon had seven points and three digs, Dana Langdon had seven points and five aces, Jordan Raupers had eight assists and six kills, Morgan Salsman had five digs and Erin Fagan had eight kills.

Spencer got five digs, three points and a kill from Kierstin Bamford and Brianna Shollenberger had eight digs.

Waverly won the JV match 25-16, 25-22.

Angelica Hager had 11 points and four aces, Karleigh VanNess had 10 points and three aces and Hannah Place had five kills.

Waverly hosts Newark Valley in their pink game today.

Tioga 3, Candor 1

The Tigers got 13 kills, seven points, an ace, 13 digs and a block from Bry Godfrey and Donette Hutchison had 24 digs, while Malley Bowen had 10 points, two aces, 28 assists, a kill and a block.

Erika Bailey had 11 kills, 10 digs, seven points and an ace and Natalie Burns had 11 points, three aces, seven kills, four blocks and eight digs.

Sam Wildenstein had 13 points and nine digs for Candor, while Erin Berwald had nine points, two aces, 10 assists and four kills. Audrey Shaver had nine kills and Madison Hornick had seven points and 11 assists.

Tioga won the JV match 25-17, 25-22.

Kennadi Lubertowicz had 20 points, 10 assists and three kills, Alyssa Mosher had five kills and two blocks and Liz Kunkler had six points, six kills and three digs.
