Waverly defeated Edison 3-1 in IAC volleyball action Tuesday.

The Wolverines won the first two games 26-24 and 25-21 while the Spartans took the third game 25-14. Waverly won the deciding game 25-20.

Jordan Raupers had 10 points, 17 assists, nine kills, eight digs and one block for Waverly while Karleigh VanNess had 12 points and a dig.

Hannah Place added two aces, four points, nine kills, nine digs and a block, Erin Fagan had five points, nine kills, nine digs and two blocks, Sam Mennig had two aces, four kills, 15 points and 11 digs and Valerie Sjoblom had four points, three kills and five digs.

Michelle Woychak had 15 points, nine kills and 17 digs for Edison while Molleigh Malanoski had five aces, 14 points and 13 assists.

Alle Jamison had 18 digs, Autumn Kennedy had nine assists, Katelyn Warren added seven kills and three blocks while Becky Linderbery had six kills and 14 digs.

Waverly rallied to win the JV match 2-1.

Edison took the first game 25-23 but the Wolverines won the next two 25-16 and 27-25.

Brooke Bennett had seven aces, 13 points, six digs and nine assists while Kendra Ellers had four aces and 16 points. Katie Goodwin added six points and seven assists while Shailei Kraft had six kills.

Waverly will host Candor Thursday.

Mansfield 3, Wellsboro 2

25-16, 23-25, 25-17, 14-25, 15-12

The Tigers held on to get the NTL volleyball win Tuesday.

Mariah Berguson had 10 points, one ace, eight kills, 20 digs and eight blocks for Mansfield while Shannon Madigan had 10 points, two aces, 22 kills and 20 digs.

Cassie Frederick added 10 points, two aces, 45 assists and six blocks, Britta Berguson had six points, an ace, six kills and 15 digs, Kaitlin Garverick had 11 points, three aces and seven blocks, Leah Fritsch added eight points, one ace and 14 digs and Rebecca Toothaker had 11 kills and 15 blocks.

For Wellsboro Kaelyn Keane had 10 kills, 18 points, two aces and five blocks while Alex Kurtz had eight assists, eight points, two aces and four blocks.

Maggie Smith had six kills, Peyton Wilson added 16 assists, Danielle Mihalik had eight points and two aces while Katie Straniere added 25 digs.

Wellsboro won the JV match 25-9 and 25-11.

Haley Zuchowski had 12 points for the Hornets while Maddy Kyle added 11. Darci Warriner added four kills while Mikayla Feil had four kills and three blocks.

Mansfield hosts Troy Thursday while Wellsboro travels to Wyalusing.

Wyalusing 3, Athens 0

WYALUSING - Wyalusing picked up a win against Athens in NTL volleyball action Tuesday.

For the Rams Roni Morrison had 12 kills and five blocks, Brooke Force had six kills, Madelyn Edsell had four kills and Delana Szemple added two kills.

Madison Eberlin had 17 assists while Alicia Tewksbury added eight assists.

Wyalusing won the JV match 25-20 and 25-16.

Randi Huffman had four kills, three assists and two aces while Brooke Force had nine kills and three aces. Christine Brown added two kills while Edsell had four aces.

For Athens Aleah Dudash had seven digs and five kills while Grace Kinsman had six digs and four assists. Sarah Slocum added five digs, Shaynia Burns had two digs and two assists and Kristi Swain had two digs.

Wyalusing will host Wellsboro Thursday.

Sayre 3, Northeast Bradford 0

25-10, 25-9, 25-20

The Redskins picked up an NTL win Tuesday.

Shelby Vaughn had 14 points, two digs, seven assists and one kill for Sayre while Shelby Coolbaugh had nine points, six digs and two kills.

Dominique Woodruff had nine points and three digs, Paige Wampole had six kills, Kaitlynn Henry had five points and 11 digs, Cailtyn Garrity had two points and four digs, Emily Garrity had two kills and Kaitlyn Tappan added seven points and 11 digs.

Sayre won the JV match 25-14 and 25-12.

Kassie Winters had 12 points for the Redskins while Hannah Hitchcock had eight and Andy Noldy had seven.

Williamson 3, Cowanesque Valley 0

25-11, 25-13, 25-3

The Warriors picked up an NTL volleyball win Tuesday.

Lori Horton had 12 points, eight kills and four blocks for Williamson while Jessie Patt had 16 points, four aces and 13 assists.

Also for the Warriors, Katie Haslun had 16 points, four aces and eight digs, Sierra Magnotta had seven kills, Janae Rice had 13 digs and Chelsea Paddock had 11 assists.

Tioga 3, SVE 0

25-22, 25-16, 25-14

The Tigers improved to 13-1 with an IAC win Tuesday.

Bry Godfrey had 10 kills and four digs for Tioga while Malley Bowen had 13 assists. Charlsie Bowen added 10 points while Kennadi Lubertowicz had six assists and five points.

Montana Dieter had two aces, one kill and 11 points for SVE while Katie Bunce had five digs. Taylor Keturi added an ace, two kills and four points.

Tioga lost the JV game 25-11 and 25-21.
