Waverly defeated Watkins Glen 231-263 in IAC boys' golf action Wednesday.

Chris Raupers shot a 44 to lead the Wolverines while Jared Joseph and Evan Van de Wall both had 45. Derek Bowman shot 48 while Conner Joseph added a 49 to round out the top five.

Keith Rekczis led Watkins Glen with a 45 while Mitch Mangus added a 46.

Waverly is at Newark Valley Friday.

SVE 239, Tioga 240

The Tigers fell to 5-4 with a one stroke loss to Spencer in IAC golf action at the Hollybrook Golf Course Wednesday.

Ryan Vicki led Tioga with a 38 while Noah Schumacher notched a 42. Jeff Lynch and Jacob Coddington both shot 52 while Shane Gowan rounded out the top five with a 56.

Vicki had the lone birdie on the par-4 fourth hole.

Tioga will travel to Candor today.
