The recent snow storm has impacted local high school weather events for both Wednesday and today.
The storm forced the Waverly Christmas Tournament, which was scheduled to start on Wednesday, to push back its schedule one day.
It will now start today at 1 p.m. with Tioga-Waverly JV girls followed by the varsity girls, JV boys and varsity boys.
Sayre-Wyalusing will now play on Friday with a 1 p.m. start for JV girls followed by varsity girls, JV boys and varsity boys.
The consolations will now go on Saturday with the championships on Sunday.
At the Montoursville Tournament the girl's games slated for Wednesday were pushed to Thursday afternoon. Wellsboro will take on Williamsport at 2 p.m. followed by Troy-Montoursville at 4 p.m. The boy's tournament will begin after Troy-Montoursville finishes.
At the Josh Palmer Fund Basketball Tournament in the Joel Stephens Division the late game of Athens-Corning was postponed and will be made up on Friday at 4:15 p.m.
On the wrestling side the Windsor Tournament, which Towanda and Waverly are participating in, has pushed back it's start time today to 5 p.m. The original start time was 3 p.m.
There will be two rounds today with the rest to go on Friday.
