Wellsboro picked up a 6-1 win over Williamson in NTL girl's tennis action Monday.

The Hornets swept the five singles matches, led by Ashley Evans beating Kim Tulanowski 6-0, 6-1 in first singles. In second singles Taylor Russell defeated Brooke Gottwald 6-1, 6-0, in third singles Kiana Acorn beat Anna Copp 6-1, 6-0, in fourth singles Brianna Quimby won over Danielle Bolt 6-2, 6-2 and in fifth singles Raisa Rogers defeated Kim Wilber 6-1, 6-0.

The teams split the doubles matches.

Wellsboro's Brittany Redell and Fran Lukowski beat Tulanowski and Gottwald 6-3, 1-6, 10-7 in first doubles. Williamson's duo of Copp and Bolt edged Wellsboro's Kaylie Seeley and Bailey Corse 2-6, 6-4, 10-8 in second doubles.
