Wellsboro continued their strong play through the NTL, sweeping the River Valley golf match Tuesday.

The Green Hornets scored 461 to go 6-0 while Towanda moved up into second at 474. Athens (483) was third, Mansfield (515) was fourth, Northern Tioga (533) was fifth, Sayre (583) took sixth while Northeast Bradford didn't score.

Northern Tioga's Dakota Ruef was the medalist with his score of 80.

For the Green Hornets, Zach Bower led the way with an 86 followed by Dillan King (90), Brett Kendrick (91), Blair Carson (93), Josh Pifer (101) and Josh Cooper (109).

Towanda was led by Hunter Gordon's 90 followed by David Rodenhizer and Nick Innocenzo both shooting 91. Also for the Knights, Ryan Cuddy shot 97, Josh Cole-Camp was at 105 and Mitch Shoemaker shot 114.

Zach Sitzman led Athens with a 90 while Garrett Ulmer shot 93. Also for the Wildcats, Megan Sweppenheiser and Patrick Cole both shot 97, Shane Bradley was at 106 and Jacob Aquilio shot 108.

Ryan Campbell's 84 led Mansfield while Dakota Alexyn shot 87. Also for the Tigers, Jarrod Burd shot 97, Patrick Ross was at 114, Josh Everetts scored 133 and Rylan Whitmyer shot 139.

After Ruef was second for Northern Tioga at 92 while Wade Tubbs shot 101, Casey McLaughlin was at 110, Josh Hamblin scored 150 and Jen Uhler scored 158.

Culer Kochin's 99 led Sayre, while Aaron Wilhelm shot 106. Steve Yanuzzi was at 109, Chaz Zimmer shot 121 and Logan Platt scored 148.

Despite not having a full team, the Northeast Bradford Panthers improved 39 strokes from last week.

Ben Abell shot 92 to lead NEB while Cody Clark had 118, Jared Harris was at 126 and Dakota Bellinger scored 131.
