Wilkes pulled away from Misericordia 45-13 as two local graduates saw action.

Waverly graduate Jeff Mastrantuono had one assisted tackle for Wilkes while Troy grad Tanner Bulkley started for Misericordia.

Wilkes freshman Freshman Patrick Ingulli rushed for a career-high 119 yards and two of Wilkes' six rushing touchdowns.

Despite allowing an opening 90-yard kickoff return for a touchdown, Wilkes dominated most of the contest using its size and athleticism to overpower the visiting Cougars throughout. Following the Cougar's kickoff return score, Wilkes received excellent field position when the Colonels special teams came up big with a punt block and recovery at the Misericordia 6. Two plays later, Auxence Wogou gave Wilkes a 7-6 lead taking it home from two yards out, the first of six Wilkes rushing touchdowns on the afternoon.

Wilkes improves to 3-2 overall and evens its conference mark at 2-2 following the win. Misericordia still is looking for its first win dropping to 0-6 overall and 0-5 in MAC play.
