WYALUSING - Williamson won eight bouts en route to their 38-30 NTL win over Wyalusing in wrestling action Friday.

Both sides had four falls each while the Warriors also had two major decisions and two decisions. The Ram's other two wins were decisions.

"Going into the match we knew it was going to be a good match," Wyalusing coach Justin Haley said. "Williamson has a nice team this year, they're solid all the way through. They have really good wrestlers in the middle and down low. We wrestled hard, we just came up a little bit short. I thought we wrestled well, just came up a little bit short."

For Williamson, Caleb Robbins pinned Jacob Sandford in 1:25 at 106 pounds, Tyrus Hamblin pinned Tracey Brown in 3:58 at 113 pounds, Logan Everett pinned Ryan Force in 1:10 at 132 pounds and R.C. Hunter pinned Zane Vaskas in 20 seconds at 182 pounds.

At 120, Warrior Carl Gorg scored a 12-0 major decision over Colston Gowin while teammate Billy Barnes had the other major decision, a 19-6 win over Dave Brown at 152.

At 138, Williamson's Trevor McWhorter scored a 4-0 win over Brandon Kelley while at 195, Warrior Mark Brennan picked up an 8-1 win over Dalton Manning.

For Wyalusing, Tyler Fenton pinned Connor Brown in 3:51 at 160, Justin Griffith pinned Mike Presto in 4:22 at 170, Dylan Otis pinned Dakota Bolt in 1:07 at 220 and Dalton Chilson pinned Darryl Hoffman in 5:52 at 285.

At 126, Wyalusing's Collin Edsell picked up a 5-0 decision over Herman Briggs while at 145, Justin Haley scored a 15-14 decision over Warrior Anthony Saxbury.
