Women's tackle football title to be decided in Towanda
The Women's Spring Football League's (WSFL) first-ever National Tackle Football Championships will be held on Aug. 11 at Endless Mountains Stadium on the campus of Towanda High School.
Two games will be played beginning with an eight woman championship game at 3 p.m. featuring the Nevada Storm vs. the West Virginia Wildfire. The eleven woman championship game will pit the New Jersey Titans against the Dallas/Fort Worth Xtreme at 7 p.m.
These games are being presented by the Binghamton Tiger Cats local women's football team who played their home games in Towanda during the recently completed 2012 season.
All day passes will allow fans to watch both games at a cost of only $10 and will be available at the stadium when gates open at 1:30 p.m. Children aged 12 and under are free.
