LERAYSVILLE - The Northeast Bradford Panthers hosted their pink game on Thursday, but it was the visiting Wyalusing Rams who came away with the 3-0 victory.

With both teams wearing pink, the Rams scored two first-half goals on their way to the game.

Morgan Sutton got the Rams on the board at 18:54 of the first half and at 30:30 Abby Borel scored to make it a 2-0 game.

Wyalusing capped their scoring with 9:50 left in the game as Kasey DeVoir found the net.

Wyalusing had 13 shots and four corner kicks and the Panthers had eight shots and one corner kick.

Angelia Laudermilch had six saves in net for Northeast Bradford and McKenzi Millard finished with seven saves in goal for the Rams.

After the game the Panthers honored coach Larry Jennings' wife Annette, a breast cancer survivor, with balloons and flowers.

Athens 10, Towanda 1

The Wildcats got goals from eight different players as they picked up the victory on Thursday.

Rachael Donnelly stared the scoring just 51 seconds in off a Kirsten Colegrove assist and at 37:11 Monica Dougherty scored off a Colegrove assist.

Colegrove scored at 32:32 to make it 3-0 at the half.

Kierstin Horton scored at 38:37 of the second half and at 36:36 Mackenzie Warner scored off a Colegrove assist, while Taylor Conrad scored off a Donnelly assist at 29:20.

Towanda got on the board at 16:46 as Julia Lambert scored on a penalty kick and at 10:49 Ashley Manning scored.

Warner scored off a Colegrove assist at 5:37, Colegrove scored at 3:50 and Meagan Wolfe scored at 2:22.

Athens had 25 shots and 11 corners and Towanda had four shots and two corners.

Kylie Garris had 17 saves for Towanda, Morgan Westbrook and Jess Stevens each had one save and Jensen Dunkling had two for Athens.

Athens hosts Northeast Bradford on Monday.

Newfield 3, Tioga 0

After a scoreless first half, Newfield got three goals in 10 minutes in the second half to get the win.

Mariah Crawford scored at 31:29, Christie Sexton scored at 25:11 and Erica Carney found the net at 21:10.

Newfield had 17 shots and two corners and Tioga had seven shots and two corners.

Hannah Manwaring had 11 saves for Tioga and Megan Pakkala had four saves for Newfield.
